Schrader's Policies Hunting

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all hunts and lodging. Cancellation notice is required with no time restrictions and any deposits received would become a credit to be used towards any service provided by Schrader’s. Prices for the hunts do not include gratuities. Please show appreciation to the guide and cleaning staff with customary gratuities. Shells, licenses, and stamps are available at additional cost. Picking is available on site.

No alcoholic beverages are allowed before or during hunts. Clothing needed includes warm rubber footwear, warm camouflaged outerwear and rain gear. Safety Orange is required for deer and game bird hunting. Guns are available to rent if needed.

Tips on Tips

Not something we like to talk about, but our guides are professionals and they do just about anything to insure your successful hunting and safety. They work long hard hours before you get here scouting, preparing blinds, decoys and tree stands.

When you’ve had a good meal at a restaurant it is customary to tip up to 15% if you’ve received good service. However, if you get the biggest buck of your life, grand slam all the species of waterfowl or meet the girl of your dreams while hunting at Schrader’s, then the sky’s the limit!
